Penn State Berks Campus – Reading, PA
While a college campus seems to be an odd place to to get your wedding photography done, we at Visions of White Dove Release found the Berks Campus of Penn State University in Reading, PA to have a surprisingly charming setting for such photo shoots. Located just off of Route 222 in the northwest corner of Reading, PA, this location displays an charming balance of rustic surroundings and elegance. We found it a perfect fit for a couple wanting a special shoot without too much fluff. The cozy environment of the premises is hard to miss.
The Janssen Conferance Center has great stonework. Photographers will tell you that a stone background makes for great pictures. And we think some of their designs are especially notable.
Or you can try out their gazebo, with the calm, intimate scenery. It’s just perfect for a happy couple.

We think there are plenty of options for good shoots on the premises. Check it out if you’re in the area but, please remember to keep in mind that the location is available on a first come first, served basis and to the best of our knowledge, wedding parties are permitted only on weekends. It is not uncommon to see several bridal photoshoots going on at the same time.
While you’re there, stop by the Tulpehocken Creek Valley Park right next door, which will provide some restful scenery after a long day.
